What Should I Expect During A Consultation?

We strive to make our consultations as stress-free as possible. Below, you’ll find the whole process laid out for your from start to finish.

Video Consultation

Before the Consultation

Before any consultation begins, we’ll need to discuss important details. When you contact GloWing Design, please include the following information.

  • Name and contact info (email, phone, etc)

  • Preferred video chat client (Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams)

  • The space to be assessed, including the type of building and what parts of the building you want assessed (“bedroom in my apartment”, “the lounge area of a hotel”, “a two-story, four-bedroom house”)

  • What sort of neurotype(s) or mental illness(es) we are assisting (autism, ADHD, OCD, depression, all of the above, etc)

  • Who the consultation is for and if they will be present (“for myself”, “for my teenager,” “for my cafe customers”)

  • Photographs of the space to be assessed.

When we receive the required information, we’ll reach out to you (by email or phone) discuss times & dates that work for you and ask clarifying questions. This is also a great time to ask any questions you have at the outset - but don’t worry, we welcome questions at any step of the process.

At this point we’ll put together a work contract so that both you and us know exactly what we’re asking of each other.

On the Day of the Consultation

When we meet for the consultation, we’ll intend to meet for 1 hour.

During this time, we may ask you a lot of questions about your personal situation, preferences, and - of course - the space itself. We know that nobody likes the feeling of being unprepared, so here’s a few of the questions you can expect:
